Workplace Wellbeing Award: Coventry City Council
How we helped Coventry City Council modernise their wellbeing award programme

The Challenge
The Workplace Wellbeing Award team (formerly Thrive at Work) at Coventry City Council needed a scalable, easy-to-manage learning platform that could meet both the Award’s operational requirements and the Council’s internal processes. It also needed to give learners the flexibility to access materials at their own pace while maintaining a professional, consistent experience.
Our Solution
We began by meeting with the team to review their existing setup and identify future needs. After exploring several options, Thinkific was chosen as the new learning management system, supported by HubSpot as the CRM. Our team guided Coventry City Council through due diligence checks, built the new portal, and added all learning content - including AI-generated videos. We ensured the system reflected the Council’s branding and automated the certification process to significantly reduce administrative tasks.

Training & Handover
Comprehensive training was delivered on both Thinkific and HubSpot, covering content creation, module management, reporting, and CRM use. By the end of the handover, the team were fully confident managing the platform independently.

The Outcome
Since launch, the Workplace Wellbeing Award team have successfully onboarded over 30 businesses from their client base of 150+. Learners now engage with self-paced modules that make the training process more flexible and accessible. The new system has enhanced the learner experience while freeing the Council team to focus on business engagement and programme growth.
